This course is designed using the IMO Model Course 3.23 “Actions to be taken to prevent Acts of Piracy and Armed Robbery”  to assist participants to recognise, prevent or mitigate piracy activity through detailed planning, preparation and coordination through various anti-piracy agents.
The course covers the following modules;

• Introduction to Piracy
• Preparation Prior to Transit
• Protective Measures
• Surviving as a hostage
• Post Incident
