GTSS combines the NMCI’s state-of-the-art facilities (including a 17 bridge simulator suite and survival pool) with GAC’s global reach and 50 years of shipping experience. Courses can take place at the NMCI or at the client’s location.

Our bespoke GTSS courses are tailored to suit the particular training requirements of maritime companies and groups. Clients from the all areas have worked with us to develop customised training on our state of the art marine simulators. This course can be delivered at the NMCI or at the location of our client's choosing. This is a bespoke course for companies or groups of up to 20 delegates. Course dates are available upon request. Full course duration is three days. A shorter two day course is available on demand. 

The lecturer
Course developer and lecturer Jeffrey Blum has unrivalled experience since 1972 in freight forwarding, logistics, chartering, trading, ship operating, shipbroking, marine insurance, commercial claims, litigation and arbitration. A Past Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers London Branch, he is the 4th generation of a shipping family, has been lecturing since 1984 in several universities throughout the UK and is a Visiting Professor at the IMO’s World Maritime University in Malmo and at the Shanghai Maritime University. He has conducted public and bespoke training courses worldwide since 1997.
